Access to care is in our DNA at 3D BiteLab, which is why we are so excited to take the difficulties out of implementing 3D printing. We are based out of the US in Hawaii and Oregon, but we have partnered with Dhulikhel Hospital and Dental School in Nepal which was founded on the principle that everyone should have access to care, regardless of their financial status. Dhulikhel dental school and practitioners follow that principal and we are working with their graduated dentists to create a world class design team. Through this in-person instruction and direction, and via remote online training from us, each dentist designer is vetted, hired and trained in design and QC. We have donated cutting edge digital equipment to the dental school including an IO scanner, 3D printer and processing equipment. With their intelligence, motivation and work ethic, we see this as an investment in the growth of 3D BiteLab and increasing access to top quality dental care. 3D BiteLab’s goal is to split any profit we make to fund projects like this around the world, allowing for economic success beyond the local possibilities, continued growth of the dental training infrastructure, and opportunities for the the next generation of dentists.
